Bekah Wright is a freelance journalist based in Los Angeles. She divides her time between writing about her travels around the world and reporting on the entertainment industry.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Bekah made a detour into the entertainment industry where, along with screenwriting, she worked in various aspects of production and development on films, television and animated shows.  In 2001, Bekah returned to her journalistic roots.

Today Bekah serves as the travel editor for Los Angeles Weddings magazine and Toddler.com/NewParent.com. She's a regular contributor to the Los Angeles Times, American Baby, Travelweek and Bon Appetit.   In addition, her articles have appeared in National Geographic Kids, BRIDES, GOOD, E!'s MyStyle, Los Angeles Magazine, Chicago Magazine, Seattle Metropolitan, Portland Monthly, San Diego Magazine, Orange Coast Magazine, Sactown, National Geographic Traveler, American Spa, Dayspa, Healing Lifestyles & Spas, The Knot, Virginia Bride, Virginia Weddings, Beverly Hills Magazine, Travelweek, UNleashed, In Touch Weekly, TV Guide's Inside TV, Swirl, UCLA magazine, Southern California Physician, TravelAge West, Rangefinder, Swimmer, LA Yoga, Tee It Up and Fit. She has reported on the entertainment industry for TV Guide, InTouch Weekly, Life & Style Weekly, Self, American Baby and Bon Appetit.
